Incentive Program

Let us provide fresh, naturally grown produce for your family.

The Agroforestry Incentive Program (AIP) is an initiative funded by the Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS).

AIP is managed by Brighter Future Farms, LLC in partnership with NRCS. The program provides direct financial support and technical assistance to four (4) farmers implementing agroforestry projects. Applicants are selected for funding on a rolling basis. Projects may receive funding in 2025, 2026, and 2027 depending on specifications and planning requirements.

The program will fund agroforestry practices implementing trees, perennials, and annual crops. It is anticipated that funded projects will be between 1 and 10 acres, but all acreage proposals are welcome. General guidelines for agroforestry assistance are as follows, but may vary based upon demonstrated need:

Trees, perennials and annual crops – Incentive will be in the amount of $4,000 per year for three years per farmer.

To enhance shared learning, people who receive support will share successes and lessons-learned with their peers and other interested stakeholders. Brighter Future Farms, LLC requires a W-9 for project reimbursements.

Applicants are selected for funding on a rolling basis. Applicants will be notified of decisions in Fall 2025, followed by application consultation. If a proposed project is deemed feasible, funding will be provided at a rate of $4000 per year for three (3) years. The final phase of the application process for applicants who are chosen will be a site visit by Brighter Future Farms, LLC. Applicants are also required to complete a CPA-52 confirming that they are EQIP eligible before receiving funding. No funding will be received by the applicants chosen until the site visit is completed and the CPA-52 application is reviewed and approved.
